Defects:
Two patches over seam on tube- tail and nose. Tiny tape-line separation near rear of raft. Holds air fine and no signs of overall seam failure.
Special features:
Self bailer- great option for summer trips for easy in-out access or other seasons if you have a dry suit.
Bottom Line:
None of the 150+ rafts we’ve owned has ever had a total seam failure (to the point that it couldn’t be patched and made water-worthy), however, Alpacka has replaced one of our rafts that had persistent seam problems. This raft isn’t close to that point, but if you purchase it and experience more seam problems it seems likely that they would warranty it. For now, its in great serviceable shape and should be for years to come.
